What does IPTV stand for?

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), is an Internet-based technology which provides the access to TV programs to the users. According TV signals are delivered via Internet data and this service does not demand satellite, receiver, antenna or fiber-optic cables. This type of service provides the live stream for the users and exempt them from downloading any files. With a broadband Internet line above 10Mbps users can watch the streams without any malfunctions such as freezing and buffering. The service can be obtained through typical smart devices such as smart TV, smart phones, PC, tablets or laptops regardless of the operating systems. In case of non-smart devices such as old TVs, the service will be easily available by a set-up box. IPTV is a flexible service by which user can select their favorite program and make a schedule to watch. Options like Video On Demand (VOD) is another unique advantage of IPTV by which users can modify the speed of the playing, pausing or rewinding it.
